Notice of agreement

These Terms and conditions govern your use of app WakeUp.zone. By creating a WakeUp.zone account or using a WakeUp.zone app, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement. If you do not accept and agree to abide by those provisions, please do not use this service.

Our service

WakeUp.zone is the blockchain and smart contract driven social network that pays its users and secures the users’ privacy. It is built on top of the powerful SunCore platform. SUN token is a means of payment created to enable the users to monetize on their data.

You can exchange SUN for any crypto currency or FIAT (€, $, GBP, etc) on Stellar Exchange if there is such a demand. To do so, you have to have the stellar wallet opened, and to have SUN tokens in the wallet. You can always send SUN tokens to stellar account from the WakeUp.zone app or you can buy SUN on the stellar exchange.

WakeUp.zone, SunCore and SUN token are the intellectual property and the sole propriety of SunCore Tech Ltd, Dublin, Republic of Ireland.

All the data that users upload to the WakeUp.zone, regardless of being encrypted or not, belongs to respective users. The data can be personal data, photos, videos, text posts, category preferences and similar. Since all the data belongs to users, users keep legal responsibility for the data they upload to the WakeUp.zone. We do not track users, or use cookies, nor in any other way try to collect data that users do not want to share willingly.

Awards

WakeUp.zone is based on philosophy about data ownership. Users are the data owners and they should be able to monetize them. Sixty percent of all created SUN tokens are placed in the Award account. Creating account award, filling forms award and referral award will be paid from this account as long as there is funds in it. Every transaction on WakeUp.zone is done by smart contract and written in the block chain, so anybody can check them at any time.

There are several ways to earn SUN tokens on WakeUp.zone:

Creating account

By creating account on WakeUp.zone, system will pay award of 10€ paid in SUN tokens. System has real time checking SUN value on the Stellar Exchange. Nine € worth SUN tokens will be transferred to your digital wallet on WakeUp.zone and one € worth SUN tokens will be transferred, as donation, to Philanthropy account.

Filling forms

We are not profiling users according to their posts, comments and likes. We do not track our users. Instead we offer you a set of forms to fill in, that will tell us about your interests & affinities. Fill the forms on WakeUp.zone and award of 10€, paid in SUN tokens, will be paid for each category that you fill, with following formula: Nine € worth SUN tokens will be transferred to your digital wallet on WakeUp.zone and one € worth SUN tokens will be transferred, as donation, to Philanthropy account. System has real time checking SUN value on the Stellar Exchange.

WakeUp Call (Referral)

Send to your friends ‘WakeUp call’ and invite them to join you on WakeUp.zone network and receive 5€ paid in SUN tokens for every friend that create account on WakeUp.zone through your invitation. System has real time checking SUN value on the Stellar Exchange.

Watch the targeted video ad

If you watch the video placed in your feed, the first time you watch that ad you will be credited with SUN tokens, as a part of the ad revenue share that the advertiser had paid for the ad placement. We will share with you half of the amount price per view that the advertiser paid to us.

Ad browser

Browse through ads in ‘Ads’ section of the ‘Feed’. For every ad watched, for the first time you watch that ad, you will be credited with SUN tokens, as a part of the ad revenue share that the advertiser paid for the ad placement. We will share with you half of the amount price per view that the advertiser paid to us.

Free advertisements

In order to help the efforts of many activists and organizations that are fighting for protection of the environment or helping to improve the lives of indigenous communities, we are giving them opportunity to advertise their activities free of charge on WakeUp.zone. You might receive such ads in your ‘Post+ads’ feed, and it is your free will to watch them or not. No award will be paid for watching such ads, as we did not charge any fees for them.

Disclaimer

WakeUp.zone app was created for fun and for informational purposes only. The App is provided 'as is' and to the fullest extent permissible by the applicable law. Under no circumstances shall the Sun Core Tech Ltd, or its future parent or affiliated companies, be responsible or liable for the usefulness, accuracy or availability of any data and information published or made available via the WakeUp.zone app. It shall not be responsible or liable for any incidental, consequential, indirect, punitive or any other damages or loss of any kind caused by your use of WakeUp.zone services or posts contents, information, products or materials included, made available to you through the WakeUp.zone services.

Any reliance on or use of the App shall be at your sole risk. The Sun Core Tech Ltd, the App Store and the Play Store, shall not have any obligation to furnish any maintenance and/or support services with respect to the App.

By using WakeUp.zone app you specifically acknowledge that the Sun Core Tech Ltd, or its future parent or affiliated companies are not liable for any actual or alleged defamatory, abusive, illegal or offensive conduct of other users of the app or any third parties. You also acknowledge and agree that by submitting your information of any kind you are doing it on your own risk, and to the maximum extent permitted by law Sun Core Tech hereby disclaims any and all responsibility and liability to you for any loss and liability in regards to such information in any way.

We expressly disclaim any liability for loss or damage sustained by you as a result of the accessing and use of the App.

Intellectual property

WakeUp.zone, SunCore and SUN token are the intellectual property and the sole propriety of SunCore Tech Ltd, Dublin, Republic of Ireland. This app and all its features and functionalities are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

Service availability

Sun Core Tech Ltd will do its best to provide continuous, uninterrupted and constant access to the WakeUp.zone app services, but this cannot be guaranteed. Sun Core Tech Ltd do not accept any responsibility or liability for any delay or interruption of the services.

Under no circumstances shall SunCore tech Ltd or its future parent or affiliated companies be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for the loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on WakeUp.zone app. As some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, or limitations of liability for consequential or incidental damages, these limitations may not apply to you.

Advertiser relationship

If you are in Post+Ads section or Ad browser section of the WakeUp.zone Feed, you might see advertising material submitted by the third parties. Each individual advertiser is solely responsible for the content of its advertising material. We accept no responsibility for the content of advertising material, including, without limitation, any error, omission or inaccuracy therein.

The only information that we keep about you are the information you provided to us by filling Basic Info or by filling Forms that we offered to you, and paid you with SUN tokens. All this information is duly registered in the blockchain as a guarantee of privacy. This information, as your profile, are only information that we anonymously offer to the advertisers, through our Ad serving platform. We do not track users, or use cookies, nor in any other way try to collect data that users do not want to share willingly.

We charge advertisers for placing their ads on WakeUp.zone. We share the ad revenue with you. If you watch the video placed in your feed or ad browse section, the first time you watch the ad you will be credited with SUN tokens, as a part of the ad revenue share that the advertiser has paid for an ad placement. More about the ad revenue share, you can find in Help & Support section on our website.

Termination

We may terminate, block or suspend your access to the WakeUp.zone app, for any reason and without cause or notice, even if access continues to be allowed to others. Such termination, block or suspension may result in the forfeiture and destruction of all the information associated with your account. All provisions of this Terms of service that, by their nature, shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability. Upon termination, you must cease use of the App and remove it from all applicable Devices.

Age restriction

Different countries have different policies and regulations regarding the age restrictions under the data protection laws. If you reside in the country that has such regulations regarding the age restrictions, you may only use the WakeUp.zone provided that you belong to the age group allowed to use it according to the law of your country. If you are a parent who is concerned about your child using the WakeUp.zone and you do not want them to, you can delete their account in the ‘Delete account’ section of the ‘More’ menu of the app.

Notification of changes

The company reserves the right to change or revise these Terms of service from time to time as it sees fit and in its sole discretion, and your continued use of the site will signify your acceptance of any adjustment to these terms and you will be bound by any such revisions. If there are any changes to our Terms of service, we will announce that these changes have been made on our home page and on other key pages on our site. You are therefore advised to re-read this statement on a regular basis.

Privacy policy

We care about your privacy. Our Privacy Policy explains how and why we use your personal information that we collect, and how you can access, update and take control of your personal information.

Linking to other websites

The WakeUp.zone app may contain links to independent third party websites, advertisers sites or other applications ("Third Party Sites"). We do not have any control over Third Party Sites, and you understand and agree that we are not responsible for and do not have any responsibility for their content or privacy policies. We expressly disclaim any liability for loss or damage sustained by you as a result of the accessing and use of Third Party Sites.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify us for any claims, actions, demands, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses (including legal expenses and other costs, such as attorneys' fees) reasonably incurred by us that arise out of your use of the App in breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any claim brought by a third party in connection with your use of the App and you agree to assist and co-operate with us in relation to any such claim.

Governing law

These Terms are, to the extent permitted by applicable law, governed and construed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland without respect to its conflict of laws principles. Using WakeUp.zone app you consent to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Republic of Ireland courts. We retain the right to bring proceedings against you for breach of these Terms in your country of residence or other relevant country. 

If you are a consumer in the EEA, this will not deprive you of any protection you have under the law of the country where you live and access to the courts in that country.
